Run Your Own Race
Observing the work shared by professional photographers on social media can sometimes evoke feelings of depression. However, I suggest disregarding those emotions.
The images these photographers showcase represent only their finest and most exceptional work, and social media often fails to convey the meticulous effort invested in each photograph.
Behind every captivating image lies a significant amount of planning, patience, tracking, and numerous attempts to capture the perfect shot you see.
Some of my own photos, for instance, demanded weeks or even months of dedication, while others remained elusive despite repeated efforts. It's crucial to recognize that the curated perfection on social media doesn't always reflect the true extent of the photographers' dedication and the challenges they faced in creating their art.
The Barn owl in attack mode photo for example took me four trips and 40 waiting hours to get.
